No one here is blaming the refs. We're trying to understand the call. The refs said you can shake the backboard as long as you were going for the ball and missed.

The margin to be successful became much narrower with the loss of Wolf. Today the rebounding deficiencies were amplified, particularly in the second half. Bad loss but at least Giffey, DD and Leon played very well and TO showed some confidence in his shot.

It's one thing to have a bad shooting night. That was an epically bad performance on both ends of the floor. But you are right, he will be back and win us some games.

If you miss the block and hit the backboard, it's not goaltending.

So why wouldn't you do that every time?

Bad call (actually terrible no call) but we had a few bad ones go our way too.
