NO MORE MSTAKES OFFENSE! ALL MENTAL BS!!!!! MENTAL! MENTAL! MENTAL! ( save the tip pass INT )... We gotta play EVERY down on offense like it matters... every friggin play going forward.. No time for mental lapses... Still have a ton of time left...

He's unspeakably bad. He's brutal. There are plenty of quality MAC and Sun Belt OC's that run exciting offenses and would love a job here. Hire one.

If your going to run the wildcat, run it for a full series. It's so predictable for one down. It works much better on the goal line the in the open field too.
 
I would love to see the stats for the wildcat for the season. I don't this "essential" part of the offense. All it does is create 2nd or 3rd and long. If we ever threw out of it, maybe it would have a chance.

takes a special kind of coach and staff, to skillfullly lose. Great Wildcat play to set up the 3rd and long. set up the interception perfectly.
 
Like 9 of 10 runs on first down and then to top it off the Wildcat puts us in deep . Chandler is not great today and the drops just silly, but for sure we are outcoached again. Why isn't Colorado offering P or D the job?
 
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it doesn't appear that GDL is not a very good OC. I have to say, I don't think he is a very good playcaller.
 
You can say that one wasn't on Whitmer but what about the three other ones that could have been picked off. We desperately need a new head coach, OC and qb next year.

Awful decision by Whitmer on that 2nd and 20 swing pass. If McCombs caught that, he loses 2.

Whitmer has the arm to play 1-A. I'm not convinced that he has the intangibles. He's the anti-Lorenzen.
 
F these announcers for putting the offensive struggles on the players and not GDL. He is a POS> He should man up and admit that he is in over his head.
 
Whitmer is trash. The dude hasn't proven himself all season.

Whitmer didn't call that play.
 
Winning is good, but it might mean more GDL. Very torn, but I think losing is for the best.

He's also not very big or especially fast. Forces him to throw at odd angles, too early or late or falling back to avoid getting tipped.
 
The wildcat was much more efdective when they let McCummings throw occasionally. Even bad passes keep the safeties honest.

You know, it is not about the play call or the player execution of the plays. It is all about the philosophy of the game. The coaches philosophy does not line up with the players, their ability and also the fans' expectation.

Great post. This coaching staff will not play to our strengths come hell or high water. Just weird.

We have a power back, two at that, Max and Hyppolite. The OC DeLeone doesn't like to rotate Running Backs, but boy does he love to rotate the QB... What an idiot!!
