The game situation changed though.

When you're deep on your side of the field with 9 minutes left, you need first downs.

When you're first and goal with 6 minutes left, that's the time to take the air out of the ball.

When you are at the 15 yard line, up by 14 and there's five minutes to go, running the ball, draining the clock and taking three is the smartest move.

Running the ball three times up the middle on your own 20 is stupid.

i have no issue with the play either.....It what we have all been wanting all year.....so aggressiveness and attack mentality.......kid got happy feet.....he had in his head that they were taking a risk throwing instead of running the clock down, and he had flashes of being blindsided, stripped, sacked and fumbled like he has been before so he rushed it..........Its a product of a poor oline all year and the constant lack of confidence the coaching staff has had in him and the O all year long......

No. What we've been waiting for all season is a balanced attack that ends up with us having the ball up by 14 and able to run the ball three times to kick a FG to seal the game.
