Baaad shooting half, but we're right there down just 3
 
yeah we can't keep missing free throws... cuse is too efficient to give away points... i like the rhythm of the game tho... only down 3 and we haven't made anything... they got two very lucky put back dunks where the ball made its way to the only place their guys were... Uconn is due some balls to bounce their way... Napier hits 3 trays in 2nd half, drummond has 3 dunks, uconn wins by 5
 
oh here goes goetlib again ( since we are playing them tight), no credit to our defense or coaching. doug-bag thinks everyone is sucks he is embarassing himself on every appearance

oh and just for good measure a backhanded to us .... "the best team doesnt always win it..."

Tirico is pretty defensive towards Gottlieb's criticism of Cuse. Am I surprised to see that Tirico is a Cuse grad. They really are everywhere...

Syracuse is huge for sports journalism (and journalism generally, I believe). It doesn't surprise me that a lot of the ESPN announcers and talking heads went there.
 
Our bigs have to have a big second half, hopefully AO's does not hurt
 
Difference is the foul line. NOT THE REFFING. Cuse is 6-8 and UConn is 1-4. That's a +5 for Cuse in a 3 point game.

Also, probably too many 3s so far. Roscoe and Boat are 0-3.

All things considered, I'll take it for the half. Need to start off well in the second though.

I would love for AO or Roscoe to make a basket, 0-9 is not going to cut it.

The effort (Rebounding/Blocks) are there. Just need to make a few more jumpers or take it STRONG to the rim.
 
Someone needs to hammer Waiters in the first minute of this half.

Had a lot of missed opportunities (missing open shots, free throws, etc.) should get better 2nd half. Unfortunately I expect cuse to play better as well.
 
We are moving the ball well. We are playing with patience. We need to hit the open shot. I don't mind O there, because he is a decent passer and adds length. I would rather it be giffey though. Boat plays small.

Hey JWill is actually saying positive things about us. Doris is awfullllll. She reminds me of Bill Walton over analyzing and yapping.
 
What's going on with Roscoe's free throw shooting lately? I used to be very confident when he went to the line.
 
go to the 3 guard lineup, boat, bazz, and lamb with our 2 bigs

He's tightening up. You see him hitching. He used to just flow through it confidently. Just before the release now he hitches. Like he's aiming it.

The guards don't even look to an open Alex because they have no confidence.
