^ West Virginia had 6 fouls that half.
 
Cut down the offensive boards in the second half, we win this game.

This team is so frustrating to watch, no one wants to stick to their man on the wing, no one gets on the ground to get a loose ball. Frustrating but in it
 
Smh WV getting away with murder on defense and Pushing off on offense.
 
They have 5 fouls against them not 3. I wish we played with the toughness and intensity that WVU does.
 
Also also NG is responsible for at least 4 WV offensive rebound.

everyone does it for some stupid reason. two bad shots are statistically superior to one good shot. first shot, take it, and hope to get the last position, BUT NO ONE DOES IT!!!!!

Is UConn a lock if they lose this game? I don't think so...depending on how other conference tournaments go.
 
Hope the one win against Depaul is enough to get them in, because they do not look like they want this game at all. I think realistically with this team, we are looking at one and done.

Anyone else having problems with ESPN? My tv went black.
 
This is awful. We play like this in the tournament, we get blown out by whatever 6 or 5 seed we play.

This team is so Fn SOFT. It is embarrassing. If I was Huggins Id give the ball to Jones to go at Drummond each time, Drummond wont stop him, Jones is just to physical for him.
 
Take Drummond out please and put Roscoe in. Drummond is hurting the team. Can't rebound, tries to play like he is a guard, can't defend, can't make foul shots

UConn needs to start pushing and going over the top underneath. WV is grabbing, pushing, using elbows. That's how that last rebound went right to Jones. Rutledge first pushed then fouled Oriakhi as he was up in the air going for the rebound.

Why does Napier take so many shots when there are two starters that shoot over 50% from the field and Lamb is at 48%?
 
Can't believe they didn't call a WV travel on that drive. Guy was tap dancing.
 
Why are posters complaining about anything other than the fact that our bigs do not box out. That is obviously the issue.

It's not the only issue. Even when they do have position, they are mauled out of the way. As I said, Oriakhi had that rebound. Rutledge pushed him in the back twice and that's how Jones got the rebound.
 
Boatright is a weakness right now also, too many turnovers and he keeps making great drives but can't make the layup
 
Among multiple problems for us is Shabazz. The rebounding is a joke but unfortunately Bazz is back to playing dumb. He bricks another shot and he just walks back on d. I watched him. WVU sprints ahead and he trots back. He's the captain. I was behind the bench for The Pitt game and insaw him walk over for a timeout right after Drummond for a charge and he shrugs his shoulders puts his hands up and shakes his head as of to say "I don't know what the hell hea doing but it's not My fault". Kyle Bailey and Giffey both patted him on the shoulder as if to say keep at it. We're still in this. That is horrible leadership. And I really think is a major problem with this team. He plays dumb. An lazy. Not a winning combo. Again not nearly all on him. Plenty of blame to go around. But I think you could say it all starts with him since hes the captain
 
The big men on this team look like they should be really tough bastards, but are in fact softer than school children. Probably going to cry to their mothers after the game.
