I'm done with coming on. I have come on all season. This is not a killer game if they lose, but it's a god damn opportunity to really make something happen and they just aren't going after it.

Man, the fact these guys are sleep walking in a game like this just does not say much about the psyche of this squad or the coaching. I see this and I just think that a team like this doesn't even deserve the NCAA tourney. The character of this team is just mush.

5 missed layups, 3 from 9 from the line, Marquette is banking 3s.
 
Just can't beast good teams when you play in the 50s and 60s. The perimeter D blows, but the team's shortcomings are more on the offensive end.
 
Uconn is one shot and done on the offense end marquette is 2 or 3 shots and done the one time they are 1 and done is when they make the first shot
 
Why didn't Boatright pass that up to Lamb, who was ahead on the break?

It's actually somewhat shocking. For the amount of talent and how really mediocre we are...it's kind of crazy. I think this team is worse than the 2009-10 team. That team was really un-clutch and played kind of selfish, and that's not what's wrong with this team. But that team at least was in all of its games before blowing them due to terrible last-minute play. This team just routinely gets its butt kicked because it can't shoot, pass or play defense.

I need to calm down and just need to get used to the fact that this is who we are. I like these kids, each and every one of them. But this team is bad.
 
You have to play at least on the bigs down the stretch. Halftime couldn't come soon enough here.

It's impossible to compete on the boards when your starting 4 has been on the bench since the 12 minute mark, and your starting 5 since the 8 minute mark or so.

They need to come out angry or go home.
 
Marquette is 27 points from icing this game, cause.there is no way this team scores 70. 17 might be enough.

That Wolf-Olander experiment was a ducking disaster. The lead ballooned very rapidly.
Monday morning quarterbacking and all that, but that was a really terrible idea, especially considering the terrible offensive execution in the halfcourt to begin with.
 
Gottlieb KILLING them, and rightfully so.

He is right, the effort is pathetic, and belongs in the NIT
 
It's gonna take a monumental comeback to win.

Marquette just looks like a much better team in every area.

What did I say that was wrong? Every game except Louisville they put up some fight. I'm right.

Does that mean that they haven't been terrible today? No.

Announcers at halftime not very nice to the Huskies (nor should they be). Yet another national broadcast talking about the team's effort being "embarrassing". How many times will I have to hear that this year?

But we're playing against a team without their centers for the entire game. No excuse for the lack of boxing out.

they are lazy and disinterested, no question about that. But Buzz is giving George a lesson in game prep. I don't care how long Blaney has been a coach, he's never won anything and he's never showed me that he cares much one way or the other.

I say give Ollie his shot and let's see what he can do.
 
Start the half with the walkons on the court. Seriously.

Time to embarrass the hell out of this team, maybe that will wake them up. This game is gone, so why not try SOMETHING different.
