Geno is now able to give her major minutes. This will pay off long termMEGAN!!!!!!!
And did he really say the name "Crystal Vanderbilt" when talking about Danger at one point... I thought I heard that.UConn never agrees with a call? Screw you, Andy.
This is a different offensive pattern without Lou and they will need to adjust. Very exciting in a different wayGabby aiming for the least prestigious double-double in basketball.
(still looks amazing on the non-turnover plays, though)
I love the blown call when Gabby threw the ball at the Terp player's foot, it hits it and reverses direction to go OOB. The ref thinks a thrown ball can reverse direction by itself. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!It is really sad that they can't find any better officials than this. There have been at least half a dozen blatantly missed calls already.
At least 3 if not 4 have been dribbles of her/opponents foot. What's with Gabby and the turnovers?
Well, outside of that she looks really good. Nurse has just been fantastic as well.
Shots just rolling out or bouncing around the rim.UConn missed a ton of very make-able shots in the 2nd quarter. This game could be even more out of hand than it already is.
I think she became an elite shooter her 2nd or 3rd year. She has always been an elite shooter. She's just been overlooked.
She expends a lot of energy.Gabby looks a little gassed
Careless at the foul line and forcing too many passes. As Geno notes, she gambles. What's with Gabby and the turnovers?
Gabby and Kia have almost sweated out their jersey. The whole team is playing at a very fast pace. She expends a lot of energy.
Geno did rest Crystal Dangerfield briefly. Z is not used to so many minutes.Gabby and Kia have almost sweated out their jersey. The whole team is playing at a very fast pace.
Dangerfield and Azura looked gassed too.
Go Beavers!Meanwhile out in Corvallis ND managed to scrape up 15 points in the first period while OSU scored 20. Shepard sat most of the period.
