UConn has upperclassmen all over the field.

Try and make some sense.

Holy Cross has shot themselves in the foot a dozen times. They win this game going away otherwise.

We also shot ourselves in the foot a dozen times, but you are correct. Their A game beats our C- game every time, and we are fortunate they also had so many mistakes.

This ist he perfect time for the fake fake FG.

They won't expect it on 2nd down.

I'm just happy I get to see, at worst, a 1-1 team @UVA. This was my season.

Quick good night summary.

I'm not surprised Holy Cross scored points. I just tbought we'd be a little more responsible with the ball and better blocking. With the terrible blocking early, no surprise Pindell had problems. If they can figure out how to use players better from the start and occasionally throw to a TE we move forward. Dont forget the beating Shirreffs took last year. He's healthy now and we have 2 QB's just maybe in a different order.

My brother was at the game. He thinks our nose tackle was ejected on the third play and we were missing all four starting linebackers. Even so, the HC QB threw for 360 yards. Yikes.

We squeaked by Maine in a miracle last year and still managed to beat Virginia, should have beat Navy (coach error), almost beat Cuse (coach error), lost to a good Houston team and beat Cincy. We were 3-3 then.

This team is better than that team based on coaching alone. Keep the faith.

Very happy yet more scared about next week. O well at least I can enjoy college football this weekend.

Unacceptable performance but thank god we didnt lose to Holy Cross.

Sherriffs is a real pro. He came in and won the game. Edsall comment that they need to get much better.

This group is just not that talented but they did shut down HC in the second half. D made some plays. I think this 3-5-3 is an acquired taste though. They gave up some plays and didn't bring as much pressure as I would have hoped.

Not me. Now our coaches have an actual game under their belts to evaluate personnel, and themselves.

It'll be an interesting week coming up now that the coaches have a better idea who the gamers are, what works and what doesn't, and what needs fixing. Signing off from TX . . .

Is it wrong to be disappointed in Lashlee as it felt like he didn't understand what his players were capable of?

I know the level of opponent, but we had 440+ yards of offense. Over 250 passing and 150 running. If not for 2 turnovers, we would have likely had 500 yards. I thought we used our receivers well (Mayala, Skanes, and Dixon all had key plays).
