Game Thread: UCONN vs Georgetown

This is a crappy looking game...one beautiful play so far all night, Stewie to Dolson...the rest is migraine.

Georgetown games are traditionally tough, though.

Last year we beat a far more experienced and better Georgetown 80-38. With the coaching change I wasn't sure what type of play to expect from Georgetown. Terry Williams Flournoy made GT very physical.

Love the Drew Brees--One Direction commercials! Right now, better than the game, except that we're winning.

Lots of open shots so far, but too many easy misses. A lot like ND game. Shooters are mostly off.

The gym only seats 2400.

Kind of disappointing so far. Turnovers, the Kelly passes to nowhere and a couple from Bria that were the same. Not enough moving the ball inside. Not enough Stef working deep and on the baseline. what is it some BYer said a day or so ago, "live and die by the jump shot?" Sounds like tonight. GTown just should not be in this game the way they are.

Only probem for Mo is she can't hit a shot.

If we hadn't gotten MoJeff, we'd be down by 12 instead of up by 12.

Hartley terrible on the 3. UConn 4 for 19 on 3s. Way too many in one half.

Kelly for the 3 just before the buzzer. Leads all scorers with 14 points.

Okay...Meg? We don't need your sound effects!

Kelly drains a 3 to end the half. Kelly with 14 in the 1st half.

Don't know what Meghan is talking about Faris hit the back rim on that 3, cleared the front rim fine.
