So far, ND's 12 second half points were all in the paint, 6 were second chance points. Also 8 were after a UConn turnover. Team has 9 turnovers already in 2nd half with approx 6 minutes played. Can't win that way.

In what world is KML not a go-to player yet?

The problem is that this team does a woeful job getting her the ball. (In fairness, it's hard to get anyone the ball when your guards turn it over 70% of the time.)
 
OMG Stewie with a PERFECT roll off the pick, I thought KML would dump it over. And then she mistimes the jump on the O-board. Really unfortunate to not score on that last possession

4 out 5 times we will score on that play , either KML or Stewie

Disagree. KML has proven time & again we can go to her. The issue is the entire team is playing idiotic basketball this half.

But there is still 11:48 left to reverse that trend and pull out the win. Game isn't anywhere near over.
 
What happened to Moriah?? Totally iced out of the game.
 
I've always loved Rebecca, but tonight she is really going out of her way rooting for ND... puzzling...

Need to have her pull CLOSE BIG games out of her butt like Bird, Taurasi, and Moore and then she'll be a real go to player

It is a good move from the outside when she starts facing thee basket but not when she puts it on the floor in the lane.

That was a chancy outlet pass to Bria, who did a great job just even corralling it....
 
Lets face it over the last two/three years, ND runs better offense then Geno's team. ND guards are controlling this game for them and so far UConn has 19 turn overs. Still leading so I'm hopeful we'll start playing better.

Yes she is better in space, turnovers happen when she gets into traffic

Another thing that confuses me: why can't this team play defense in the 2nd half?

Why is KML not getting a touch on EVERY SINGLE offensive possession?

This team has less than 10 minutes to find an identity. Otherwise, this is the most disappointing UConn season since 2001.
 
Who was the "lovely" person that pointed out the foul difference in the first half?????
