Didn't think this game would turn out to be a blow out. Team got to the Free Throw line at the same time Kentucky started missing their shots. Tiff is obviously POG. Bria and KML had great 2nd halfs. Also like how tough Stef was in the high and low post. Don't recall Kentucky stripping her for turnovers.
 
Simply awesome they have fulfilled everything I thought they could do this year. Now it is on to the dream.

Tremendous second half defense. Gave up som meaningless points at the end when the game was over but held KY to 17 for most of the half and 26 total.

Exhaling feels like heaven!!!!

Hard fought, sweat-inducing, I love this team game!!!!!
 
I thought Samarie played well. She shot the ball very well. She'll have a nice career in Lexington.

So many positives to take from this game:

  • Tiffany being the senior leader when the team desperately needed her.
  • Stef playing big when Bria and KML didn't have it early.
  • KML having a GREAT second half. So good for a freshman. I'm telling you, as good as Breanna is, I think KML is the franchise. She just has "it".
  • Smart plays by Bria and Kelly to get UK into the bonus early in the second half.
  • Great play by the guards against the press.
  • Geno- 13 Final Fours!
Onto Denver!

These girls paid the price this season. Let's see what happens now.

She had a great game, but that's a bad call.It's not about one game, but the entire tournament. Still, so proud of her.
Should have gone to Kelly, IMO. (Although Bria and KML probably made better arguments than Tiffany.)

Unleash Tiffany from here on out. If UConn is going any further, we need the 30-point Tiff.

Good for Tiff getting the Regional MOP. Looking at these two games in RI... I would have given it to Kelly Faris myself. Even though some people here think she was stupid tonight..... I think her play the last two games was truly amazing. Way to go TIFF.... Way to go Kelly... Way to go Bria... Way to go Stef... way to go Kaleena.. Way to go Carolina... Way to go Kiah.... way to go the rest of the team.
