hmm. well i can't see the game so i can't tell you. they just pointed out that Stef yet again set a moving screen, something she frequently does. oh well...
 
Yeah Stef looks confident. She's got 14 points already, some good rebounds, and she is moving well.

They really need to work on that high screen, though. She gets called for that a lot.

Not criticizing you, eric, just laughing at the difference in POV of the two announcing teams.
 
On the high screen Stef and the guards have to come to the understanding that if they don't wait until she is set or cut close enough to her she can't help them. She must stay still but the guards have to use her properly.

"Big night for Stef cuz we've seen her fade into the background a bit. only averaging about 20 minutes per game. to have 14 points early on - i think she's tired right now, but a much better start for her and she needs to continue to have a really good game and effort tonite" (so says Kara wolters...!)
 
22-11. if a team is over matched inside, i bet Chris Dailey is not happy they are giving up 3's (even tho they are only 3-8)...

Stef 4 rebounds, 8 for 9 and back in. Heather bought her a nice breather and Stef came back in ready to go and scored immediately.

9 offensive rebounds? is that just "luck" from long boards on missed 3's, or good positioning by UCONN? that's an impressive number...
 
Are they going to show the halftime thing with the 2002 team?

She is dependent on the team looking for her. Something we have not done well much of the time.

Tonight we are looking for her regularly. She has had many more touches.
 
well ok as i was typing that, Stef called again. 18 for the big girl. i really hope she scores in teh 2nd half too... how many times have we seen a player have a huge first h alf only to disappear in the 2nd half...
 
Wonder why we haven't seen Kiah yet? Banks just in for the last five minutes...
