30-20 Texas at halftime.

Can Texas pull off the Stanford-Tennessee-A&M trifecta this season? They're halfway there...
 
Just tuned in...wish there were more people there. Semi-impressed with Texas, though I don't think Tennessee is anywhere near a #4 ranking.

Will never call Tennessee UT, that's just wrong...
 
Impressed with Lang. Not impressed with anyone on Tennessee. I know, I know, injuries, blah blah blah. Ariel Massengale hasn't improved at all in her four years there. They run no offense. They don't play defense particularly well. What on earth do they do in practice with all the HS AAs?
 
Upcate; The Empire is shooting 7 for 29 and still have only one assist.

Interesting game to watch. The Orange Empire is struggling to play a TX team that is having it's share of troubles too. BUT TX is doing better with it's challenges than the orange ones.
 
Texas without Davenport and Atkins much of the half and still up 10. I hope Atkins can stay on the floor; she is a joy to watch.

I really like Brenda Van Lengen. She and Ron Thulin are a good duo and tend to stay focused on the game and don't stray with silly chatter or "witty" banter. They call a lot of Big 12 games and are my favorites.
 
I didn't think Tenn could be as bad as the Tenn fans have been saying, but gotta say the Tenn fans have been dead b*lls on! Regarding Holly's inability to call a time out: You'd have to know what you wanted to say to call a time out.

The LV fans are still living in the 1990s. Denial and delusion are not pretty.
 
Lang's game reminds me a lot of Lauren Cox. She was considerably heavier last year.

Nneka is such an incredible athlete. I really enjoy watching her play.

Texas will be getting Jordan Hosey next season and IMO she was the best HS player in the state of Texas last year. She is long and fast at 6-2 and has a full offensive arsenal, including a nice jumper, ability to get to the rack and deep three point range.

52-38 Horns at the under-12.

Texas is pushing shots a bit much. That's my one gripe about this game right now.
 
Just tuned in at the start of the 2nd. Tennessee's transition D is awful. And Texas gets a good look very time down.
Kinda unbelievable given the quality of athletes they have.

Whereas in most people's opinion, she wasn't the best player on her team. ;)

Looking forward to seeing her at the McDonald's game next spring. Texas' future looks good.
