Stewey and Sims are out, Dupree and Bird are in.

They are either testing the waters or it is an endurance thing with Cambage.
 
Dee makes a 2 with Birdy assisting, then Sue commits a foul
 
Aus misses a three, then Dee commits a foul
 
Score is 28 - 23 USA just under a minute and a half to go in the half
 
Lavender misses a bucket - after making the first, she has missed the rest of her shots

Australia crawling back on free throws on a McBride and a Moore foul (each). BOth shooting fouls but only two shots fell. Score is 28 - 25 USA
 
AUS makes a bucket and closes it to 1 with 18 seconds to go
 
There's no stopping Rachel Jarry. The USA can only hope to contain her.

Angel with the least amount of playing time.
 
So USA is shooting 12-40 committing lots of fouls (a flurry of them at the end of the second Q to let Aus close the gap) and getting out rebounded by 20-29.
DT and Angel with two PFs each.
Stewart leads USA with 5 pts on 2-5, Nneka is 2-2, Charles and Moore are both 2-5.
Moore and DT lead with 4 RBs each and Stewart has 3
DT leads with 3 Assts and Whalen has 2
Stewart has the only block.

Minutes fairly evenly spaced except for Angel who only got 1.5 minutes after picking up two quick fouls. DT and Dupree lead in minutes with 12.54 and 9.35 - coach trying to play them into the team?

Of the borderline players:
McBride with 1-1 shooting, 2 rebounds and 1 PF
Diggins with 0-0, one TO and one PF
Sims with 0-0 and one rebound

Dolson with 0-1, one rebound, one TO and PF
Lavender with 1-3 and no other stats
 
Bird, Taurasi, Moore, Dupree and Charles to start the second half.

Cambage is not in....

Hard to tell too much in friendlies right before a WC or Olympics - USA still trying to figure things out in terms of the back end of the roster and combinations that work well. Australia probably already has things worked out and doesn't want to overplay their hand.
