33-20 a 2:51/ EDD looks knackered.
 
ph misses on a break, but Phillips (?) puts it back. 40-20
 
Diana does some stuff only she can do, culminating in a BG layup. 42-20 at the half. dt with 12 points and 5 assists. Dupree has 18, BG wih 8 points and 6 blocks.

With Candace and Catch not at the Worlds, what do we think are the chances that EDD will make it 9and not withdraw because of injuries...)?

Can't see EDD trying out for the Sr Team this year. She would make the team, but probably be a role player because of her health.
 
Sky looks totally bumfuzzled.
 
No offense to our Duke friends, but this resembles a UCONN/Duke affair.
 
DT3, then Dupree for two, then Bonner with old-fashioued 2+1. 52-24.

DT not on floor and they don't look the same. Still, they do resemble a UC Steamroller on offense.
 
Obviously EDD should have stuck with tenure at uconn. This game proves it.

Also obviously, this is sarcasm. Or is it?

Every time I see Griner play I am more shocked that Baylor won one NC with her. And I'm not even going to mention that they also had Sims.

Hate to say it but this will be a sweep.

. Too much Maya Moore in 2010, running into A&M for the fourth time in 2011, and possibly the most mind-boggling game ever against Louisville in 2013.
 
You guys are awesome, thanks so much for this! I was able to peek at the thread on my phone from time to time, but got caught and the hairy eyeball so I had to stop. I literally just got in. I expected a rout and apparently that's what happened. D is dialed in, Griner continued to improve, Dupree is awesome (she should make the World team IMO) and sadly EDD is not healthy. I will watch the replay, but now I have to go look at the US Open to see if Serena is done.
