Geno can't be happy with the scoring from Stef & Kiah. Marist has been able to shut them down. With their superior size they should be able to dominate in the post. If Marist can do this, have to believe teams like Stanford & Baylor will as well.

They double/triple teamed the post the entire game.

They took 29 3's, almost 50% of their shots. Geno prefers closer to 30%. But you sometimes have to take what the defense gives you. Tonight it was outside shots.

Thus the strategy. They were hoping would miss more.

This might be the best shooting UConn team ever. I think leaving Lewis, Stewart, Doty, Hartley, Tuck, Banks and now Faris open to shoot 3's is a recipe for disaster for the opponent.

and, as I noted in another thread, when I canceled my service after the first game, they refused to refund any of my season subscription. Right now, it is "under review", but, thus far, SNY has provided misleading promotions, poor service, and stolen money.
