true, she's deferring but the way they're pressuring there haven't been as many of the typical shot locations for the 'shot magnet'
 
Great defense. Missed opportunities to open up some distance on offense. I would never press this UCONN team unless I was so far behind I had no choice.

good point. i deleted my thread because i only have radio and i was referring to the stats only, not how she was playing. realized it may have sounded overly critical! :-)
 
no aTm field goals for the last 5 minutes, and UCONN started off 5-7, but has gone 1-6 since.

Shot looked a little rushed by KML, but don't stop shooting it... !
 
Frenetic pace is advantage UConn but I want to see more half court offense, set up Stef inside.
 
aTm seems to be very good from the line.
 
Now starting to rely on outside shots. Need to get some inside baskets when in the half court offense.

This game is kind of messy in some ways, but it's nice to know we can impose our will on a game like this and still score with reasonable effectiveness. D is quite strong tonight, as usual

boy what a great game so far for Faris. i'll bet this is what SHE was expecting when she worked so hard on her offense in the off season.
