I don't know why so many hate the Wildcat. It is a very effective formation to get 4 or 5 yards IF the OL is blocking well. Today, they are. We've had a 15 yard run and a 4 yard TD out of the wildcat.

So let me get this straight. UConn Wildcat = run. Maryland calls a TO to adjust their D. We run the exact same play we were going to because...you know...THe UConn Offense is soooo imaginative. And we still Score? Maryland is terrible...

You really have to laugh at how sad it is on both sides.

64 yard drive isn't that short. Regardless of anything, the TD was huge. The offense looks adequate today, which is all we need with this D.

I'm glad the wildcat is working, if it does the rest of the year we'll have a great season and Whitmer won't feel the need to win everything himself.

But I totally agree about the playcall. If Maryland is preparing to defend the wildcat, send Whitmer out.
