1. Yes your cable provider has to be a participant. I had to put my account number in when I registered
2. Download the app and log in. You wil see several games that are stream able. Some may be blacked out. You can also watch games later which is cool
3. Cool features if using an iPod/iPad/iPhone. You can AirPlay to apple tv with decent video quality.
Use wifi as 3G can be glitchy
I shut off the auto lock feature because I notice it will shut down the video
That's it the hardest part is just getting registered but it works fairly good. 3G is ver glitchy but wifi works very well.
