A pink turtle on my bed
Left by my daughter

Co-incidence NOT
Fed to my dog to destroy
Like Huskies will Terps

Poor kid cried all day
But she did right and gave in
Her mojo is strong

Maybe yes or no

I respect haiku
As a rule-based discipline
Punctuation too

Ultimately, I
think it affects the mojo.
Doesn't mean I'm right

When it's too cutesy
It's like that too fancy pass
that's a turnover

And I remember
when, "I lack experience"
backed your ask for help

Is it clarity
or personality that
that motivates you?

Honestly, I knew we were screwed yesterday when I awoke to this tire fire of a haiku thread.

I purposely didn't participate because it only got worse from there--even chief came by to drop a turd..

The damage was done.

And no, this wasn't an attempt at haiku. Thread didn't deserve it.
