Don't you understand
how a haiku is written?
Or just bad at it?

Five syllables first
Then seven in the next line
Finally, five more
I learned something.

I thought it was just symbolism for an idea of rhyming, and not something to be strictly construed. So be it. I was not trying to imitate something that I did not really understand.

I didn't research it out. Now I will and maybe in the future , try if again and follow the rules.

My bad.
