Great, likely historic night for women's basketball. Iowa vs. LSU is the first game followed by our game. The best players in America on display. I just hope we have legs and play well. It was hard to imagine us getting even to the Elite 8 with our injuries and then our double digit losses but here we are. A Paige, who is the country's best all around player, that is just a pure pleasure to watch, a great passer, leader and defender in Nika, and someone who could make all the difference in Aaliyah if she has even a representative game tonight. Then there are the 4 frosh. USC will score so we will need points from Ash and KK and a solid floor game from Ice. If Q gets in we need energy, perhaps a 3, and some good defense to rest our starters.
As far as this BYer is concerned, we are playing with house money. One could say we have Paige and they don't but it may be that the better expression for tonight is proven to be "We have Geno and you don't".
