OT: Game Console for Old People

I'm sure I posted this before, but didn't follow through.

Any helpful suggestions for a game console for anyone who grew up in the in the 70s or 80s? I'm looking for something that has old games like Donkey Kong, Asteroids, and one of my lesser known favorites, Arkanoid.

A little OT but you can get arcade Pac-Man (7 games) or NBA Jam at Costco for $400.

Buy a 40 dollar raspberry pi and do this: RetroPie: Build Your Own Raspberry Pi Retro Gaming Rig

You can play all the snes and sega genesis (and whatever other early systems) games you want

Just buy a used Play Station. They have retro / geriatric games you can buy for it

My wife got me the NES Classic for Father's Day. I have been playing Super Mario and Donkey Kong on the weekends once the kids fall asleep. Awesome gift.

On a related topic, I highly recommend the Netflix series High Score which goes thru hit 80s and 90s console and arcade games. It's really interesting..... they cover Atari, Sega, and the popular classic games.

I still have - Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, N64, Playstation 1&2, XBox 360, Wii, Sega Saturn. We never gor rid of any. All are in working order and can play any of the old classics. Just bought a Switch and am working on designing courses.
Can't forget all the old PC games - for big and gog.com are good for those.

As one of the old folks that grew up in the 60s. I upgraded my Xbox 360 to a One X last year.
I started with Magnavox Odyssey (an antique my brother has now).
I never by new consoles when they come out but have been upgrading every few years once the price drops on the newest console. My kids and now grandkids appreciate my vintage consoles.

I’ve got my N64, Xbox 360, Xbox One and One S, plus a Switch. Kid will take Switch to college next year.

SNES and PSX will always be the best for me, followed, at a distant third, by the sega genesis. The Gameboy advance and PSP are awesome handhelds on the go, as well as any android tablet.

You can get an snes mini and hack it with relative ease to double, triple or even quadruple (or more) the library. I would imagine you can do the same with the genesis mini, etc.
