I'm with you 100% cferraro04! Uconn has GENO and Chris and they have proved themselves over and over in games like this. Uconn has the firepower and defense to win this game. All they have to do is play up to their ability and conviction of who they are and win the game. I have never posted a negative comment about Uconn on the Boneyard and never will. We have the team that CAN pull off a win and I believe it. GO FRESHMEN!!!!! GO SOPHOMORES!!!!! GO HUSHIES!!!!!
Next 12: It is great to be UConn fan.

This is a very optimistic evaluation- especially rating Fudd over Pao Pao and Chen over Johnson (to say nothing of Fulwiley, whom none of our players can guard)
Fudd annihilated Pao Pao… and even though I called advantage EVEN in the Chen vs Johnson matchup in actuality it was ADVANTAGE-UCONN. Fulwiley had 11 points and 1 rebound. An argument could be made in a Shade vs Fulwiley matchup it was also ADVANTAGE- UCONN. There is something to be said for being loyal to the team you root for.

At 77 I don't get to many "I told you so" moments so I've got to toot my own horn here!
I had a 2 point win but otherwise..........

I have a feeling in the back of my brain, (and at 77 I don't get too many feelings anywhere) that this could be UConn's best game of the year!
The healthy players will step up for Ice and Morgan being out and play their hearts out for a 2 point win!
The talking suits don't think UConn have a chance and Geno and Staff loves the underdog look!
UConn pride takes over and motivates our girls to an outstanding performance!
But then again I'm 77 and I can't remember my name sometimes

I don't see this game going as last year's. I think it will be lower scoring. Not quite a rock fight, but points will be hard to come by for both teams. First team to 70 wins.

I'm cautiously optimistic that UConn comes out of Columbia with a win.
So I wasn't right about the lower scoring, but was right about first team to 70 and my optimism was borne out. ;)
