Game Analysis - Game 11 - UConn vs Marquette

Sensei, for purposes of analyzing match-ups I think it's probably a coin-flip - I probably would stay with Serah like you did. Serah will certainly be jumping center with Skylar at the tip-off. After that, I'm pretty confident Skylar will be all over the place.

I expect Marquette to run a bunch of high ball screens utilizing Skylar, so a lot of the coverage up top will depend on how UConn prepares to switch.

I imagine after watching film, Sarah, Serah and Blanca are salivating about the possibility of guarding Skylar, and jockeying for the assignment to do so.
I agree, there will certainly be some mix-and-match. Another factor militating in favor of Williams-vs-Forbes is that Vice is Marquette's best rebounder, so it makes sense for Strong to be guarding Vice.

This Marquette team got their doors blown off by MN earlier this year. I’m not sure how this game will be even remotely competitive. I imagine Geno/CD will look at that game and probably the Iowa State game (where they were somehow more competitive…which is weird.)

I anticipate at least a 30 point win. May balloon higher than that (like at USC) but the 4th quarter science experiment will give Marquette opportunities to whittle down UConn’s MOV.

.In the context of the style of analysis presented here, the issue of what impact the point guard or specific players have on the game might be effectively compared in the Intangible portion of the study. I often wonder what to include in that section.
No criticism. Intangibles cannot be quantified, otherwise they wouldn't be intangible. 😊
