FYI Diggins

Just took a look at Diggins stats for UMass this season. To my great surprise he has taken 113 threes this season (Spencer 117 Karaban 107). He's hit 41 for 36.3%. I never pictured him as a prolific deep shooter. Also 84.2% from the line on 32 of 38. Avg 29 min & 12.6pts per game. I would have thought his projected impact was assists and ball handling, instead he is a shooter.

They effectively play two PGs that share the role.

He’s not a star at that level, but glad he found a landing spot where he’s been able to be a solid contributor.

Good to see him thriving. He wasn't at our levelp--no hard feelings.

Nice to see. Diggins has come a long way from the kid who couldn't get the ball up court. Players do improve over time. He needed to playing time to get it done and I don't think he would have gotten significant minutes here. His move was good for both of us.
