“He’d be foolish if he didn’t explore,” the Hall of Famer said, “but I think he’s going to be the coach at UConn. Kevin needs to weigh everything at the time — how you feel, what’s right for your family, what’s right for you, what the future holds. I’m sure Kevin doesn’t want to go through this every year. UConn’s gonna be UConn, and they’re gonna pay him exceptionally well.”

Mother F#cker better stay! Or else! ! !;)
i hope so because those comments he made about the other guys leaving the team and not staying aren't going to mean the same

I'm sure if social media existed in the manner it does today back in the early-mid 90's, we'd have seen a lot the same about JC.

God damn technology!

At least we have two future head coaches in Kemba and Shabazz. Keep producing PGs and we're good.

I think KO would not be able to face JC if he were to leave.

I think after the media tour in March its clear JC would like to coach again if it were the right opportunity, if KO leaving meant JC would be taking over his old spot, I don't think he would be too upset.

He may not be, but I sure would be. Unless there were some crazy circumstance at UCONN requiring an interim head coach, I think the best "right opportunity" for JC from now on will either be at the Hartford or New London Counties CT Elite AAU Teams. He's done enough, and we're all eternally more than grateful, but he's supposedly handed over the reins for the future, and that's how it should stay.

You know it. All point guards can coach. That Isiah Thomas was excellent.
