I'd thought with the growing popularity and people with business degrees working at the ncaa that they would go back to 4 regionals in the next contract awards.

Historically, regionals meant 4 groups, but I'm not sure that regionals can't mean 2.

Generally speaking, I don't like splitting the geography in two. However, I'm excited about Philly and D.C. If I'm around, I'll be there!

Mars + Pluto, too, and also Maloney High in Meriden and the ex-South Catholic High in Hartford (the gym is still there)....

Creative Tours of Bloomfield, and also Starship Enterprise Explorators will be handling all bus, plane +spaceship travel, with all Clingan Insurance, of course, as always, included free of charge.

2025 & 2026 are just disasters.

How do you not have anything remotely near the East Coast? I know they were handcuffed by who wanted the regionals, but those two years have the potential to be attendance nightmares.

I don't think that the 2027 FF will be boring. I don't know much about Philly it appears to have some nightlife. But Las Vegas is far from being boring it's got everything you want 24/7 and it never sleeps.

Texas is on the Atlantic coast (and you will have of course noted the scare quotes). I will also point out that you don't seem to have a problem with Fort Worth, Texas being in Connecticut's "region." (No, I am not defensive.)

Hopefully women's basketball will continue to grow in popularity to the point where they go back to actual regionals that next time around.

U-Hartford or place a court at the Meadows

I believe that they are all 5,000 plus capacity

Fort Worth and Sacramento is awful.

Fort Worth is not optimal but near Dallas and all it has to offer. Have had several business conferences and it may work out well there. Sacramento, not so much.

The question is what locations are best not only for the players and teams but also their families. And, will they draw spectators. There are many cities that have not only facilities to practice in but also are great for tourists. You can start in the East with: Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Charlotte, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and Miami. In the Central Time Zone: Cleveland, Memphis, Minneapolis, St. Louis, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and Oklahoma City. Out West there is Seattle, Portland, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Phoenix. Only of these places and more offer what is needed for awesome tournaments.

I believe that Las Vegas has more hotel rooms, entertainment, restaurants, and a great night life then most of the cities that you posted. Just ask the UConn men's team how Las Vegas took care of them after the NCAA put them in a hotel that shouldn't have been contracted and after their bus was robbed during their practice because the NCAA failed to have security on site.

Why the committee ignores Boston, New York, New Jersey is confusing to me.

I doubt NYC is interested.

MSG is in use pretty much every day of the year, and with big events that have high ticket prices and still sell out.

A $100 ticket and sell out generates $2M for MSG. I would be surprised if any WCBB regional ever has grossed even $1M.

And don’t forget hotel costs are much higher in NY and Boston than elsewhere.

With the recent surge in wbb interest, some of the bigger cities may start to consider.

I could see Boston hosting. It's expensive in Boston proper, but there are a lot of suburban areas around the area that could be cheaper options for hotels.

NYC, no, I don't ever see it happening.

UConn, SoCar, TN, ND, etal have fans that travel in huge numbers for their schools!

Iowa should be included in this list. They totally took over Seattle in '23.
