I think Fishy is still picking crow out of his teeth from him saying there was no way UConn was going to the Big East.Notre Dame to the Big East now all but assured.

SYRACUSE,“Sure, it’s fun to be in a conference with basketball blue bloods like Duke, North Carolina, and Syracuse, but what do the Irish really get out of being in the ACC?”

And some posters are obnoxiousSome of us took the opposite position.
Agreed. When you throw in women's basketball, it would be a great move for ND and Uconn. The only upside to Notre Dame in the Big East is in the long run they might provide a good team for the women to play.
dayton will get in over xavier's dead body.Dayton...let's do it. I'd prefer adding Gonzaga and St Mary's though but that doesn't make geographic sense

we'll be lucky to be middle of the pack.Very true. It's a solid league that will be enjoyable to be a part of. Even if we have in the middle of the pack for a year or two.
Why do the speculators always choose to forget this part. Those bums can’t go anywhere, and anyway for putting us in our current position.Oh...the ACC cares...thus the contract binding the Irish....and the GOR until 2036.
