Time Warner has a statewide sports show every night..... they got to this game at about 10:20. They showed the Panthers... The Belk Bowl.... recapped the Tobacco Row Men's games from last night, a few Division III Men's games ..... and some boy's high school basketball games before this one. To their credit... it was the lead story after the 2nd commercial break.

In what world is an ND loss more earthshaking than a #1 vs #4, both unbeaten?

Because #1 beat #4 as expected, while #2 got beat by an unranked team - not expected at all, especially considering it broke ND's 34 game ACC win streak.

The really sad factoid here is that the espnW web page is understaffed. It can go days without being updated by anything other than tweets. They put a lot into promoting the UConn MD matchup .... not surprising ND NCState ended up under-reported.
