haha he's a good coach and a good man. that's a good one.

There should be a follow up poll where the Courant asks readers what should be done with the three people who voted: "A coach at UConn's level should get five years to prove himself."

I find it interesting the Courant would post such an "obvious results" poll. That is basically saying "Your doing a lousy job Paul and the Courant thinks you need to go"

Might as well post Jacobs scathing editorial now instead of next week. The spread in the score will dictate how much heat is in the article.

Jacobs voted for all four just to cover his bandwagon a##. he is the worst sports writer I have ever read and conner is worst beat writer-handsdown. its a real shame Hartford doesn't have another daily paper

It used to , but none of you mensas would buy it.

I'm not voting. I want him gone, but this stuff doesn't do anything but tear the team farther apart.

I'm worried that there are 34 people out there that either think:

1. He should not be fired because he's a good coach and a good man

OR

2. A coach at UCONN's level should get five years to prove himself

Save this poll for after Michigan - we all have a feeling of what's going to happen, but maybe the kids can overcome the burden of their coach. I'm rooting for the boys to make themselves proud!

That makes more sense than "he is a good coach and a good man"...I'm certain he is a good man, but he hasn't given us any indication that he is a good coach (any longer - clearly he was in the past).

If people think he is a good coach I have an Adult Day-Care Center to sell you... real cheap!

89 - 11

who are the 11% that support him? I'm going with the coaching staff, CT high School coaches, friends and immediate family

He's Italian, with 11 votes it appears that 2/3 of his family believes he should get the ax.

(I can say this as I also am Italian and in an Italian family, cousins, and often second cousins, are as close as brothers asnd/or sisters are in other families).
