Yikes...104-11

On what basis did BoneYarders complain about their performance?

They have been awesome and anyone who has complained is just nuts. Great article. Stef the quiet one, hard to believe.

What's their record v. Notre Dame? Would be cool to then see the record v. everyone else.

And Strother/Turner being 1500 point scorers as classmates? Never would have guessed that pair.

Their 11 losses are ND 7, Baylor 2, Stanford 1, St Johns 1
Versus ND the three seasons go:
3-1
1-3
1-3
Against Baylor they are 1-2
Stanford : 2-1

Great article. Great comments from Geno. Dolson and Hartley have been through a lot together. I hope they can go out with #9.

Speaking of giving someone a nudge.....something tells me if you ain't giving it your all your going to hear about it from Morgan Tuck.

Nice article but really ... what slackers.
We expect a lot better from our players. ELEVEN losses!!! and over only three years!!! UGLY. What were they doing. I mean we had to suffer through 4 losses with that last supposedly great player (and over four years) - certainly not what we recruited her for, and that was soul destroying. Thankfully last year they redeemed themselves a little bit and I was able to come back in from the window ledge, but really!!!:oops::cool:

This has to rank with the all-time "Most Interesting" articles from our news writers. Interesting insights into player personalities and histories, along with the "stats" about our top-scoring classmate duos over the years. A tip of the cap to Jim Fuller, with appreciation.
From Hartley's comments in this article about the factors contributing to her maturation, along with what our group at the Gannon game observed in person the other night re Hartley (most importantly, more assists than shots taken; apparent great comfort and confidence with the limited shots she did take; only one drive into a wall of bodies, and on that one I think she just trying really hard to unselfishly end up dishing to one of the walk-ons for a bucket, even though she never really got the pass off), looks like she might be in for a banner year of very important contributions to the overall success of what could be, obviously, one of our best teams of all time. Interesting, too, that despite taking few shots, she still came away with double figures in points along with her high assist total.

PS - I hope Snow and Wilson and the recruits visiting this weekend get to see this article, especially Hartley's comments on her maturation and role of our coaches in that process.

UCAT: yup, another good blog/link. And your recollection sounds like vintage Dolson for sure. Man, I'm already starting to miss her, just like those who just graduated.

And their teammates have included Maya Moore, Tiffany Hayes, Caroline Doty, Kelly Faris, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, Breanna Stewart, Morgan Tuck, and Moriah Jefferson.

In their second college game, Stef had to battle with Griner and Bria had to battle with Sims. That's a tall order. And our latest soccer-playing guard from Long Island hit big shots late to get the win. Hartley at the Buzzer!

And the Big Girl chooses to wear #31, last worn by ... Just the NPOY and UConn career leader in scoring and rebounding. That takes some confidence.

To think that if Sue and Tamika were not hampered with injuries, they would be with Ashja and Swin as 1500+ scorers. That could have been a class of four... And as much as I love Willnett, had she played consistently she too could have had a bigger impact at UCONN, that said.. Willnett made a huge impact on the two national titles she helped win!
