They are not going to be. SU will be B1G. Pitt will too or big 12. Big 12 Has to add 6 to get to 16. If the move really is to 16 how on earth is anything left with the Acc losing 10. Because there is nowhere to take anything from.

This is what we call assuming facts not in evidence. Not sure either of the things you stated will come true or even have a strong possibility of doing so.

Utah is the 10th least densely populated state in the US. Utah has three FBS level schools. And the Utes still got into the Pac-12. Look at the SEC. Do you think the SEC is centered around huge metropolises? Two schools in Mississippi and Alabama? College athletics now generally tends to aim for or develop around areas that lack professional franchises. Collegiate athletics used to be more popular than professional athletics. Not anymore, obviously. Austin better hope they never get an NFL franchise.

If you don't think San Jose or New Mexico or Nevada (at least) have potential, I have no idea what to tell you.

Utah was also quite lucky to get in to the Pac 12. When the Texlahoma expansion failed, the Pac-12 was sitting a 11 (with Colorado) with no obvious options. Unless they wanted Baylor or Iowa State, Utah was by far the best option. The Pac would have gladly expanded without Utah if it could have.

If Texas decides to get out, they will blow up the league as well as your Grant of Rights, and you'll be left holding the bag.

Why post if you don't bother to read the thread?

People here assume the superconference idea is temporary? For as long as the B12 contract? And that the contract doesn't have holes in it? Read the thread.

I don't see a time where the GOR will be challenged.
