UConn gets so many cheapies off of beating the other team down the floor in transition. At least two that I've seen so far and I tuned in most of the way through the 1st. You know UConn is going to play well in the half court . You can't afford to give them free buckets in transition, too.
 
Is it just me, or does four quarters seem faster than two halves even though it's the same amount of time?
 
UConn TO :09 2nd.. let's see what play we're going to mess up to end the half.

Yeah I thought the same thing. Games seem to only take about 1:45-1:50 instead of 2:00.
 
We have to be able to finish thru contact ! Typical officiating. Fl st.is spent.

If I recall correctly, the new system cuts out some of the media timeouts, so it does go a little bit faster.

That's correct. Lobo commented that both teams are tired because there have been so few stoppages in play.

Effectively, you get timeouts at 15, 10, and 5, rather than 16, 12, 8, and 4. So you lose one per half. The game definitely flows more quickly.

I think the team timeouts have been reduced as well.
 
Lawson on the half time show: Stewart, Jefferson, and Tuck there's not a better three in the country.
 
You would think with UConn shooting 58% & FSU shooting 33% with 11 TO's UConn would lead by 20+ points. FSU's Rebounding is keeping this a competitive game. UConn leads by 14 points. Entertaining game. FSU 1-6 on 3 point shots.:)
 
Wondering if Stewie is getting a cold. When KLS came in for her they showed Stewie on the bench reaching for a tissue box then blowing her nose. Hope its not going around.

Saw that too. I think they're all catching it. KLS seems like she's been sick for months now.

Sorry I think that she is a better player than a couple rebounds and bothering a couple shots.
 
Collier playing well. Thought Williams played well overall in spite of the two missed layups. Five missed layups overall by the Huskies. FSU plays very tough defense. UConn has about a 6-player rotation unless KLS starts looking better.
 
Fl looks longer than the other teams we've played. I didn't see the intros so I really don't know.

My guess is KLS is in there tonite to give someone a few minutes break. She was not sprinting up the court as I know she can.
