FS1 isn’t a great channel. The fact that UConn woman’s basketball is setting records for it is the take away.297,000 viewers? That seems kind of low. I know WCBB isn't as popular as MCBB but there ARE big fans of the sport. I thought more people would have tuned in.
Who?Did they beat Meagan and Harry?
I am surprised if 300,000 people can find FS1FS1 isn’t a great channel. The fact that UConn woman’s basketball is setting records for it is the take away.
I am curious to see the men’s big east tournament numbers and whether Connecticut has an impact there as well.I am surprised if 300,000 people can find FS1
oldude flaunting some bona fides. With the hope and expectation that next season will see a return of fans in the stands, I can forsee SRO crowds packing arenas to get a first hand view of Paige and her teammates, particularly if UConn manages to win their 12th this season.
Paige could be the most important thing to happen to WBB, since they did away with 6 on 6 basketball (basquette).

Have you seen what FS1 is showing for the mens tourney tonight? Pre-game, then the game, then post game!!!!!!! Think I'll boycott this and just see the reuslts tomorrow. Besides..........the womens game is more interesting since they play as a 'Team' and not as individuals wanting attention.I am curious to see the men’s big east tournament numbers and whether Connecticut has an impact there as well.

I am still awaiting an email response from FS1 about the horrendous camera angles and none halftime analysis of the women tournament!Have you seen what FS1 is showing for the mens tourney tonight? In reality, mens game draws much attention. They get more views on YouTube. You can hardly find woman highlight with good view numbers. Paige can get quite a number of views but just cant think of any other college women.Have you seen what FS1 is showing for the mens tourney tonight? Pre-game, then the game, then post game!!!!!!! Me too. That camera angle from courtside for 2-3 minute stretches game me a headache.I am still awaiting an email response from FS1 about the horrendous camera angles and none halftime analysis of the women tournament!
My sister played 6-on-6 in high school circa 1960. I thought she was the one who crashed that format. Did they really play 6-on-6 until 1993 in Iowa? Isn't making girls play by those rules what the hippies were protesting?I would really hate having to just play defense without the ability to even cross half court.
I do believe that Iowa was the last holdout for 6 on 6 basketball. My sister played 6-on-6 in high school circa 1960. I thought she was the one who crashed that format. Did they really play 6-on-6 until 1993 in Iowa? Isn't making girls play by those rules what the hippies were protesting?
Was there a significant player who came out of Iowa before 1993? No Caitlin Clarks.I do believe that Iowa was the last holdout for 6 on 6 basketball.

Truly what it was all about for us. And we won. Never been much recognized for it until now.My sister played 6-on-6 in high school circa 1960. I thought she was the one who crashed that format. Fox did not set the camera angles, they were dictated by the Big East and COVID protocols. No cameras were allowed on the court and most likely none were allowed near any players or game officials like the scorers table, so they were limited by where they could go. Last year they had cameras at each end of the court near the baskets, plus some other courtside angles.Me too. That camera angle from courtside for 2-3 minute stretches game me a headache.
They have one camera angle where they basically look at the court at the horizon (maybe 5 degree elevation?) and this angle for me is the one that gives me a headache The other angle is elevated (maybe 25 degrees) and that is a much more comfortable angle. I cannot understand why they ever use the horizon angle unless it is to give the viewers a better feel for the speed of the game but I don't need or want that.Fox did not set the camera angles, they were dictated by the Big East and COVID protocols. I notice at the start if the game, they use that annoying angle and then a little into the game, they use the normal angle almost all the time.Fox used normal camera angles for most of the game. The networks have always had those angles that are poor for game action. I guess they come in useful sometimes, perhaps as a player is coming out of the game. Maybe Fox like SNY sometimes is a little slow to switch it back to the normal angle.
Conn. changed to boys rules in 1966-1967 season.I do believe that Iowa was the last holdout for 6 on 6 basketball.
