I drank about 50 frozen painkillers in the Caribbean over the holidays and I finally resolved to make these at home this summer when we entertain.

Looks like the Ninja Slushie Max is the leader in the clubhouse in terms of a frozen drink maker - I’m wondering if anyone’s got one of these or knows something better.

Can I assume a frozen painkiller wouldn't work for a toothache?

The Ninja Slushi or Creami is awesome but runs about 185.00. I would suggest looking on Facebook Marketplace for it. I would also suggest looking for a used version of this Jimmy Buffett margarita machine:

A little more than three decades ago I was told by a friend of (then) in-laws who ran a smoothie shop in Myrtle Beach for a couple years that the trick is to let the ice soften before putting it in the blender.

Let the ice sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes and it will crush a lot easier and more uniform. Also, I own a couple Ninja blenders and recommend them highly.

If this Ninja makes drinks 16oz at a time, my admin assistant raves about it.

BTW fresh snow makes awesome frozen drinks. I'm famous for my snowgaritas
