I really believe that Bradley will outperform Wolfe and we will be in ok (not great) shape. Tyler continuing to improve and putting on another 20 lb of muscle would help tremendously as well.

With Calhoun also we'll be a wing/guard predominate offense. Let's hope DD grows and contributes a lot more next year, Scoe and Giffey slide to the four and TO plays the 4-5. Screwed most likely though. Didn't Nova have a 4-5 guard lineup the year they were a top ranked team?

Nova did have a 4-guard lineup, but Wright was very creative both offensively and defensively. mixing in some matchup zones and press/traps. Can't see JC doing that.

Those four guards were also 2 Seniors, 1 Junior and a Sophomore. 1 was BE player of the year and three played in the NBA with 2 of them being 1st round picks. That 4 guard lineup had a little more experience and talent than ours would.

I realize that but was trying to find a ray of hope!

We did just fine with Chuck as our Center. With MB, EO and TO playing the 5 and if the supportive cast perform to their best, we will be ok.

Yes, if we can get Emeka Okafor to play the 5, I think we'll be just fine.

That being said, I think EW will be able to make some good contributions next season.

At this point, I'd be shocked if we don't see a completely different looking Uconn team strategically next year. You'd think we'd go to a 4 or even 5 out offense and start pressing and trapping again. Six of our best eight players are perimeter guys, and the other two are face up bigs.

We're more than fine with TO and RS at 5 and 4. Bring in MB off the bench. Then we have NG and DD at the 3 and SN, RB and OC at 1 and 2. Nice 8 man rotation, everyone is happy and we score more points, not that it matters for next season, but the sky is not falling.

We'll be competitive but not dominant. More like a Notre Dame than UConn.

JC likes to pund it inside and that's not going to happen without AD and AO. Kinda of Karma for AO as he would have been the man.

I thinks other teams will have more of an issue matching up with us than vice-versa. We will be quick and athletic, although we won't have the eraser in the middle. Hopefully DD will step up and Bazz and Boat give us a full year of basketball. The Ncaa crap is over and JC is there from jump street. I like this team!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JC is going to have to hold his nose and go with a small lineup. Instead of a lineup with two guys whose game is confined to the paint, we might not be playing any.

I could see a Napier -Boatright- Daniels- Roscoe -Olander starting lineup, with Calhoun, Giffey, Evans, and Bradley coming off the bench. They would look a lot better with Obekpa's name in there. I wonder if with 2 starters leaving UConn, they can jump to the front of the race?

Or like this year's Marquette team.
