When AO leaves and possibly Drummond... How screwed are we. Sorry for the negativity but i just want to discuss are front court options.
Those four guards were also 2 Seniors, 1 Junior and a Sophomore. 1 was BE player of the year and three played in the NBA with 2 of them being 1st round picks. That 4 guard lineup had a little more experience and talent than ours would.
I realize that but was trying to find a ray of hope! Those four guards were also 2 Seniors, 1 Junior and a Sophomore. 1 was BE player of the year and three played in the NBA with 2 of them being 1st round picks. That 4 guard lineup had a little more experience and talent than ours would.
We did just fine with Chuck as our Center. With MB, EO and TO playing the 5 and if the supportive cast perform to their best, we will be ok.
i think we'll be fine also but we had kemba with chuck as our centerWe did just fine with Chuck as our Center. With MB, EO and TO playing the 5 and if the supportive cast perform to their best, we will be ok.
We'll be competitive but not dominant. More like a Notre Dame than UConn. We're more than fine with TO and RS at 5 and 4. Bring in MB off the bench. Then we have NG and DD at the 3 and SN, RB and OC at 1 and 2. Nice 8 man rotation, everyone is happy and we score more points, not that it matters for next season, but the sky is not falling.
JC is going to have to hold his nose and go with a small lineup. Instead of a lineup with two guys whose game is confined to the paint, we might not be playing any.
Wolfie - they're not mentioning you.
Or like this year's Marquette team. With Calhoun also we'll be a wing/guard predominate offense. Let's hope DD grows and contributes a lot more next year, Scoe and Giffey slide to the four and TO plays the 4-5. Screwed most likely though. Didn't Nova have a 4-5 guard lineup the year they were a top ranked team?
