" You'll be hard-pressed to find a more miserable football loss in UConn's FBS era than its sorry showing at Syracuse. Yes, the Huskies have lost by bigger margins. But, they were embarrassed by an Orange team which, with all due respect, has no business hammering anyone so thoroughly.
UConn has clearly regressed in every facet during Paul Pasqualoni's second season. Most troubling is the decline of the offensive line & the running game, long a source of pride when the Huskies overachieved.
Four games remain on the schedule. Is there another win in there? A better question is whether Pasqualoni will be handed his walking papers in December. It's hard to believe he won't get one more year to make a case. But given the utter lack of progress the program has made, nothing would be surprising. At the very least, expect to see a few offseason changes with the rest of his staff."
