Friday Sweet Sixteen Games

I mean, we're essentially Indiana, if Indiana had done anything in 30 years.

If they're blue bloods, so are we.

But I take your point.

It turns out ‘Blue Blood’ really just means you had a long time successful coach when newspaper writers were still important.

Nobody under 40 gives two poops about Indiana.

One Shining Moment will be literal. After Loyola wins - Jesus himself comes and takes Sister Jean to heaven.

It’s just one day off the Good Friday/Easter nexus.

I don't know about all that religious sh it, but she will have a heart attack.

ASweet’s first good take of their posting history was an observation that these recent Nova teams finally learned to rip an opposing team’s throat out

Gotta wonder what they/Wright did to turn that corner. Maybe 10 years of coming so close finally did it

The game sort of changed around him somewhat to his advantage.

Ryan Arcidiacano was a pretty common CBB player from 1980-2000.

Today he is like the rarest Pokemon.

If you can get very good and very experienced - that’s the only way to take down the basketball factories at Carolina, Duke and Kentucky.

I wish I could watch the Turner executives tomorrow try and will Michigan and Kansas State to the FF.

Loyola and Florida State as one FF game with Duke/Kansas as the second game would be high comedy.

Loyola/Florida State/Texas Tech would only be ruined by Duke or Kansas joining.

I’m curious what cuse’s aversion to dunking is except for alley oops

This cuse team has to be one of the worst power conference sweet 16 teams I have ever seen.

.-.
And they try to dunk and he misses it.

Wow

The calls duke is getting here are laughable.

If they’re gonna duke get away with all that and give them all that, cuse has no chance

.-.
I dislike Grayson Allen, but since he was in high school I’ve loved his game.

As soon as I saw he selected Duke, I knew I wouldn’t root for him. Then he confirmed he was a bit douchey for 3 years straight.

But offensively, I like his game a lot.

he literally travels more than anyone else in CBB.

This Purdue/Texas Tech game is good. Two evenly matched teams. Much better than the pillow fight on CBS.

Trying to understand why Duke is playing this extended zone.

I think I understand why, in theory, but I think it’s too easy to beat.

.-.
Cuse can't dunk lol.

If they could this game would be over.

How many shots inside of 2 feet can you miss?

Just checked my work pool bracket for the first time since the opening round. If Duke loses and Purdue wins then mathematically I win. Not looking good right now lol.

For the most part the game has had a Cuse feel to it but Duke could run away with it at anytime.

The B12 has had themselves a tourney. If Texas Tech holds on they have 3 teams in the Elite 8.
