Friday lineup (11/29)

Hmm. Dayton leads 22nd ranked Gonzaga 27-25 after 1 half.

Penn has fought its way back into the game with Duke. If Duke can't win this game by double digits @triaddukefan , I'm afraid I'll have to keep my SFA logo for another day...

Odom is electric at times ...... but watching this game is bad for my blood pressure.

I am keeping an eye on Nicholls, which has scored exactly 47 points in each of its first three games, against Rice, Indiana and TCU. At halftime of their game today against Jacksonville, they are right on pace for 47 points, with 23 in the first half.

Well pooh...Nicholls has 53 with two minutes left. Oh well...no sense keeping tabs on them any longer. Carry on everyone!

The Memphis-Kansas State game has had a bit of a ****show. Memphis has led by as much as 13 in 4Q but then nearly frittered away the entire lead. At one point, a player dribbled over to the bench, apparently thinking her coach wanted a timeout. But no one ever called the timeout, a Kansas State player stole the ball, and then passed ahead to a teammate an "and-1" in transition to cut the lead to 3. Memphis might just hang on but it won't be because they stayed composed.

Kansas State already lost at home to UT Arlington. Needless to say, they've taken a step back. I thought last year was the worst ever for the Big 12, but with Texas, Kansas State and Iowa State all down from last year, I think we're at a new low.

ND now 4-4 after losing to SDSU.
ND may be 4-8 soon
Next 4 games: S. Florida, Minn, UConn and DePaul

Ayanna Mitchell picked up 2 very early fouls in LSU's game vs. Michigan State in the Bahamas. Needless to say, that's one player LSU can't win without.

I know wishful thinking is fun, but I'm willing to bet any willing party that ND will not go 0-4 in its next 4 games.

Hmmmm. That’s really tempting. ND only chance is S. Fl or Minn. I think Minn is a home game for ND. DePaul is at home for ND but won’t matter.

LSU and Michigan State on pace for 64 turnovers after the first quarter.

Not sure how MSU is ranked 15 at this point. They haven't played anyone yet if you count ND...

maybe voters got them mixed up with Miss State?

Michigan State on choke alert. 11 minute scoring drought from the field :D

Haven't had a FG since 5:30 in 3rd quarter lol

LSU has outscored MSU 23-2 since the 5 minute mark in the 3rd quarter. #15? Sure

LSU on a 23-4 run to take a 5-point lead.

Oh man, if LSU could just stop air balling its 3s, that would be progress.

We are what we are. We are bad at shooting 3's and shooting from midrange. We are a defensive minded team that is really built on our post play.

MSU could not seem to stop fouling or contain Mitchell rebounding the entire 2nd half.

McCutcheon finally pulls the lid off the basket for MSU, hits a 3 to end a 15-minute FG drought. Huge possession coming up here for LSU. Only 37 seconds to play.

Yikes, LSU is clueless about entry passes, commits a horrible turnover to give MSU the ball and a chance to tie with 6 seconds to play.

LOL Mitchell fouls on the 3
McCutcheon, an excellent FT shooter, misses the 2nd FT to let LSU off the hook.

Just a comedy (or tragedy?) of errors by both teams in crunch time.

Still, an amazing defensive effort by LSU to come from behind and collect a valuable win.

Unfortunately. It's a fact. It lost us tons of games and won us a lot of games too.

We seem to make all games more tense than they need to be. Thats just our game in general. Make games low scoring and ugly.

And we will continue to live and die by it. Its been kind to us so far this year.

We will see how far it takes us in SEC play.

Most any day that MSU loses... im perfectly ok with it
