Friday lineup (11/29)

Most any day that MSU loses... im perfectly ok with it
Wait, what's the story behind this antipathy? Does it have to do with the provenance of a particular coach?

NCAA's previous method of using predetermined sites... and a certain #1 seed had to play on a certain #9's seed's home floor in 2009. Yeah.. its been 10 years you might say... time to let it go......... but Im still salty at Purdue for knocking off Duke's men's team in the NCAA's back in 1980.... when I was in second grade. So in comparison... this is still fresh.

Missouri is struggling, and North Carolina is better than we expected. UNC leads Mizzou by 14 in 3Q.

the one time I pull for Mizzou Head bang

Blackwell having a nice game with 14 points 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Haley Franks in double figures scoring again but they seem to be leaning heavily on her right now.

Missouri has issues defending the 3 this year.

.-.
Texas is playing hard vs NC State.
NC State opening up a lead in 2Q, now up 7. State has hit 5 of 9 from the arc.

South Dakota has run away from Ohio State in the 2nd half, now up 18 with a couple minutes left.

Missouri doesn't look that bad to the eye test, but they can't seem to win or close out games. They are really missing Cunningham's offensive production and leadership.

State might be a sleeper team this season. Glad they disposed of the fighting ribeyes.

.-.
Ready for the Syracuse and Stanford game. Wonder who will come out on top.

A few other eye-catching results from today:

Purdue routed Drake 67-47.
Long Beach State beat Penn State 64-56.
Seton Hall squeaked by Vanderbilt 69-65.

Alabama with a really nice win over Northern Iowa. They've shown some life after a terrible loss to Hampton to open the season.
