I agree. He'd fill much the same role as AK right now. But also... Flagg is an incredible talent. He might be so good he makes Scheyer look like a not terrible coach.
He's actually a handsome guy, going to make buckets of money in endorsements, unless he has a Pee Wee Herman voice or something.

Very happy with McNeeley. Fits our roster needs much better than Flagg.
Not sure Flagg would not fit at UConn but remember, AK might have gone if Flagg was coming.

Flagg would fit on any team ever. He'd be the starting 3/4 regardless if AK was here or not. Dude is an incredible talent.

I take the point as "you are only getting one of Flagg and McNeeley, and given the current UConn roster (AK and Stewart), McNeeley might be a better roster fit than Flagg would have been" and not "Flagg wouldn't fit on the UConn roster." The key word would be "better."

There is certainly an element to truth to this, but Flagg, AK, and Stewart as a front line would have been problematic for opponents.
