Some great matches slated for the next few days:

Men’s Semifinals 6/11:

Zverev v Tsitsipas 9am ET - Tennis Channel
Djokovic v Nadal 11:30am ET - NBC

Women’s Final 6/12:

Krejcikova v Pavlyuchenkova 9am ET - NBC

Men’s Final 6/13:

Zverev/Tsitsipas v Djokovic/Nadal 9am ET - NBC

Who you got? I think both men’s semis will be fascinating today and the women’s final features two players ranked directly next to each other in the world rankings. My buddy has a Tsitsipas 18/1 ticket so I’m probably pulling for him to get his first major. Should be a fun weekend of tennis

Can't stand modern tennis. And tennis on dirt isn't even real tennis.

There should be a thread on sports you can't stand.

The women's draw was turned upside down but has had some amazing matches with lower ranked players along the way.

Oh c’mon don’t be a party pooper. Lots to like here. I think Novak has a chance against Raffy but he’s been as automatic as it gets.

Lol please explain how you can’t stand modern tennis? The game is better than it’s ever been, you want people to go back to using wooden rackets and having umpires missing calls without Hawkeye?

I will slightly agree about the red clay being a ridiculous surface but its easily the most challenging for the top players to navigate. It’s a testament to how good Nadal/Djokovic are that they routinely adjust their game to be good on both clay and surfaces like grass and hard courts

I'd watch Djokovic and Nadal today if I was home. That said, I'll try to catch the final on Sunday.

GREAT match on NBC right now. Zverev and Tsitsipas going to a fifth set after Tsitsipas won the first two.

Nadal is -260 against Djokovic. Not too often you get a chance to take Djoker +220 but its Roland Garros

By dumb luck I finished my Friday chores and turned on the tube.
First game, first set and Nadal is grunting and wheezing on every shot like he just finished scaling Everest in one day.

Pass.

Djoker back from the brink, was down 5-0 wins 3 straight before ultimately losing the first set. Now up an early break 2-0 in the second

People normally don’t like a sport that they suck at. As for an old guy like me, I like playing on clay, it’s much much easier on your feet and knees than a hard court is after three sets.

As for Nadal and Djokovic, it’s always interesting when they play because Nadal is a lefty, which means when Joker hits his backhand cross court he is hitting to Nadals forehand, and vice versa.

What a match today. Over the past couple years I've become a huge women's tennis fan. Personally, love best of 3 vs. 5 as it's more manageable to watch. Also a lot more parity in my opinion in the women's game.

I agree women's tennis has really taken off past couple of years, very competitive.i thought krechikova vs the Greek girl was the best match I've seen this year.for krrchikova to keep her nerve after the ump screwed her multiple times was outstanding

Wow, wasn't expecting my man Joker to beat Nadal like that at the French. Wish I could've watched it.

So, I basically was confined to sofa this afternoon after a good morning of outside honey do's.

To be fair to this thread and the sports I hate thread I made an effort to watch this match.

Watched first part of first set and then watched fourth set.

Came to realize I just can't stand Nadal. He just annoys me because he is so one dimensional as a clay court specialist. But he's the best ever on that surface.

Loved watching Nadal break down physically and Joker just dominate last 30 minutes.

I will not watch finals for either men's or women's.

That would mean I can’t like any sports except for bowling I guess :)
You can try taking up golf, and you can still be a fan of a team sport. Take up fly fishing, but even there you wouldn’t like it if you never caught anything. Lol

I feel like Tsitsipas has a good shot this morning- no way Djokovic isn’t gassed from the semis v Nadal. It’s all mental with Stefanos, can he handle the pressure?

After vitas gerilitis beats Conners after losing to him 16 times in a row proclaims in a interview "nobody beats vitas gerilitis 17 times in row, nobody!".anyway I guess being 2 sets up to joker was just to much to handle, nice to have tennis back.
