Four Minute TO, Please, Please, Please

UConn was up 56-55 coming out of that TO.

Now losing 67-61. Outscored 12-5. Vital two fouls leading to four points, and a missed 3 which led to Quinones' 3.

Gilbert with his usual out of control drive and miss.

I don't care how bad Gaffney and Bouk have been playing, we have all seen Gilbert/Vital lose games all season last four minutes.

@Chin Diesel Gilbert was hammered get outta here, always looking for something. The whistle decided it at the end with the touch foul, then the no call on the drive along with Bouknight undercut on the rebound. End of story

Um, no. It was the exact same end of game performance we have seen at least five times and it all involves Gilbert flailing on the ground after missed layups and transition baskets after Vital's missed 3's.

There are at least three threads on this board right now making the same observation.

Yes. Put it in Gaffneys hands. Lol. Ya ok. Is he going to do something positive or just be a body? It doesn’t really matter but IT was a foul on Gilbert and bouk got bridged. Not gonna get mad at AG for taking that to the hole. he made one mistake pretty much all game overall he played decently given the situation. We re just not good enough.... yet

Yes, the combined 4-18. Get it to them.

Shortsightedness is ridiculous on the Yard. The boys and Hurley are grinding but coming up short. This team is enjoyable to watch. Folks want a final four team like yesterday but aren't willing to put in the work as fans. Hurley is putting in the work. Folks just need to chill.

It was a foul I don’t care how many of the arm chair quarterbacks on here want to find a way to blame Gilbert.

switch teams and that gets called 110%
It was a foul. But switching teams is not the answer to poor officiating. The reason Memphis won and UConn didn't is because, today, they where good enough to overcome poor officiating against them, and UConn was not good enough to overcome poor officiating. Quinonez hit the 3, Vital missed the 3. In the end the one constant, poor officiating, was probably a push.

We lost as a team. Plenty of weaknesses to go around.

At a critical juncture two calls that could’ve gone either way pushed the lead from 2 to 6 and effectively out of reach. The second we get called against us 9/10 times this year.

You get it.

UConn needs to do more in the first 36 minutes so they don’t always put themselves in position to lose these close games in the last 4.
