Huskies finish without their leader. (I'm a big fan of Ollie's, but it had to be said before y'all took the opportunity to ... oh, never mind).

Musher falls off, but his Huskies stayed on course, and made it to the finish line alone.

Iditarod dogs reach checkpoint without their dozing musher

For the mojo, we need to root for both team of Huskies.

Interesting take. Ollie has fallen off the wagon? Or has the dogs been mushing too hard?

Even if they somehow pull off a miracle and get the automatic bid, there will be no Judgement this year.

Let's not forget the truckload of trophies the Mojo has delivered back to lil' ol' Storrs, CT and the shocking accuracy of my renderings.
You ride the mojo, the mojo doesn't ride you. Never forget your place.

That said, I understand your decision. But if they, by some miracle, best Houston this evening, you gotta do something for Saturday. I don't care how half-hearted and ill conceived. Deal?

If only there was a way to start gathering early mojo for next season.

I vowed to be William Shea for the month. Unfortunately no William Shea, no tiger blood, no MakersMuppet, no Senor Testiculo could save this team from themselves. Mojo only works when you have the foundation, it doesn't work with awful teams.

Can someone please link the entire campus celebrating a title by doing the "Senhor Testiculo" dance outside Gampel please?

I thought that was a censored Boneyard potty word.

I missed this - I was wondering what the hell was wrong with you. Your posts had suddenly become shrill, knee jerk, and stupid...in other words, a perfect facsimile of the aforementioned William Shea. Well done!

You have to believe in the mojo for it to work. How about the 1980 USA Hockey team? Realistically, should a rag tag bunch of college players have been good enough to beat the Red Army machine?

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? And it ain't over now!"

Sorry pal, but nobody can emulate the Shea.

There was a guy in front of me last night who seemed like he probably made a couple 100k a year then he whipped out a blackberry and started clickclacking away on it. He's probably reading this post on it right now, I should be nice.
