Yes, I know the refs are human and that they can’t see every play. But it seems as though the SEC has its own rules about what is and isn’t a foul. Clobbering someone on the arm during a block is usually called in the Big East and sort of ignored in the SEC. The SEC seems to allow for a lot of hooking and other extracurricular contact. So, tell me what you think about the inconsistency in how games are called and whether it is good or bad for the game.
