Yes, I know the refs are human and that they can’t see every play. But it seems as though the SEC has its own rules about what is and isn’t a foul. Clobbering someone on the arm during a block is usually called in the Big East and sort of ignored in the SEC. The SEC seems to allow for a lot of hooking and other extracurricular contact. So, tell me what you think about the inconsistency in how games are called and whether it is good or bad for the game.
 
If a league plays overly physical and IF that is not allowed in the NCAAT, then that league could be in trouble in the tourney.

The BigEast men had that issue about 30 years ago. The league allowed 6 fouls which got teams used to very physical play. The NCAAT stayed at 5 fouls and the league did not have good tourney results.
