From Jim Fuller @ NHR - http://runwayramblings.blogspot.com/2013/07/teggart-keeping-his-nfl-dreams-alive.html

>>I took a ride up to Worcester earlier today so I could catch up with former UConn kicker Dave Teggart who hosted the first camp as part of the Teggart Total Kicking program he recently started with his father. A story on how he decided to become a kicking coach will appear in tomorrow's edition of the Register.

However, don't think for a minute that this endeavor means that he is giving up on his aspirations to be a kicker in the NFL.<<

This kid has a real boot on him and should get a tryout somewhere

He is as good as it gets, I'm sure he'll end up in the league. He has a strong leg, he's clutch and he can kick in lousy weather. It's not uncommon for kickers to take a few years to get to the NFL, I can't imagine there won't be a team that could use a guy like him.

I'm rooting for him. Good leg, accuracy, clutch and bad weather doesn't affect him. I agree with the above: he should get a try out somewhere.

He should be given a few shots during a game. Forget tryouts. He's proven himself at UConn. And on Johnny Mac's video.
