.... Seemed like a sweet lady-- Sat next to her at the Alamodome during 2002 Final Four semifinals... we talked about her recruiting of Swin Cash and Asjha Jones........... 20 years ago-- seems like......yester........

Thanks so much for posting this last week, HuskyNan... I can't believe it just registered with me.

Since her passing, I've read numerous accounts of her years at Wake Forest, including the one graciously linked by triaddukefan, and every one focuses on what a wonderful young woman Charlene was during her years as Deacon coach. That Geno thought enough of her to bring her on board at Storrs speaks volumes, too.

RIP, Coach Curtis.
